Sawhorse is made by Domus Salus LLC. By using the app you are agreeing to what is on this page.
What Sawhorse costs
Nothing. There is no trial period, no card required, and no feature held back behind a payment. If that ever changes for a future feature, the app will say so before you use it, and anything you already have stays as it is.
What Sawhorse is not
Sawhorse is not accounting, bookkeeping, tax or legal software, and it is not a substitute for a professional.
It keeps a record of what you invoiced and what you spent, and packages that record so your bookkeeper, accountant or attorney can work from it. It does not keep your books, calculate what you owe, or file anything with anyone.
Specifically:
- Every figure comes from what you entered. Check it before you or anyone else relies on it.
- Mileage is your responsibility to verify. Sawhorse works out distances from visits you marked as finished and applies the IRS standard rate. Whether a particular trip is deductible, and whether the distance is right, is your call and your accountant’s — not the app’s.
- Nothing Sawhorse produces is advice. Not tax advice, not legal advice, not accounting advice.
Your data is yours, and keeping it is on you
There is no cloud copy. No account, no server, and no database of ours holding your work. That is the point, and it is why nobody else can read it.
It is also the risk, and it is worth being direct about:
If your phone is lost, stolen, broken or wiped and you do not have a backup, your work cannot be recovered. Not by you, and not by us. We do not have a copy.
Sawhorse can write everything, photos included, to a single backup file. Where you keep that file is up to you. Make one, and keep it somewhere that is not the phone.
Using it sensibly
Do not use Sawhorse to break the law, and do not use it to send messages people have not agreed to receive. Messages sent from the app go through your own phone and your own number, so they are yours.
No warranty
Sawhorse is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We work hard on correctness — the money and tax calculations have been independently audited more than once — but software has defects, and we cannot promise the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Domus Salus LLC is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from using Sawhorse.

If these terms change we will update the date at the top of the page.
